Tateossian is a Luxury Mens Jewellery company focusing on cufflinks, bracelets and accessories. At Tateossian each collection is formed for the Spring/Summer collection and the Autumn/Winter collection. As a graphic designer my role was to produce stylebooks, look books, marketing materials for campaigns, digital and printed assets etc.
For each season that I worked on in my team we would produce stylebooks as seen below. At Tateossian stylebooks are highly important as they showcase every item of the collection from cufflinks, bracelets, necklaces, accessories etc. providing in depth information about the product as not only a piece of history for the company but as a selling tool. I have worked on the following seasons; Thompson AW23, SS24, Tateossian AW24 and Luxe. (Luxe is a separate collection formed of rare stone items and Thompson is also a separate collection but formed of items that are more playful.) The stylebooks are professionally printed books as they are heavily used throughout the season for shows, clients, marketing etc.
Preparing the stylebooks in my team we work on photographing the products in the brands style, and heavily communicating with other departments in the company to collate all the information required for the stylebook while independently putting the book together for print amongst other task. During the season AW24 I had the opportunity to lead the design look and putting the stylebook together. Traditionally the front and back cover design utilised a still life photography of the items but during SS24 we proposed to use a lifestyle image instead as it helped make the book look and feel more luxury which is a key component of the company. Therefore, while designing the covers for the AW24 book I wanted to push the creative design of the lifestyle image while appealing to the editorial design aesthetic and following the brand guidelines. It was also important that the design of the stylebook covers matched the look book overall design to keep the season assets cohesive.
