Tateossian is a Luxury Mens Jewellery company focusing on cufflinks, bracelets and accessories. At Tateossian each collection is formed for the Spring/Summer collection and the Autumn/Winter collection. As a graphic designer my role was to produce stylebooks, look books, marketing materials for campaigns, digital and printed assets etc.
For each season that I worked on in my team we would produce look books as seen below which gives the sense of the new collections theme. At Tateossian I have worked on the following seasons; AW23, SS24, AW24 and Luxe. (Luxe is a separate collection formed of rare stone items.) The look books are professionally printed as they are heavily used throughout the season for shows, clients, marketing etc.
The seasons I worked on within my team, SS24 and AW24 as they are parts of the same year the paper selection had also reflected this by using the same style but in a different variation. For SS24 Peregrina Majestic Moonlight Silver was used, for AW24 Peregrina Majestic Moonlight Silver and Kings Blue was used to also match the style and colour scheme of the stylebooks and for Luxe Peregrina Majestic Sand. Traditionally the Tateossian looks books were only printed in a gloss paper type. However, during these season we proposed to explore a different style while keeping cost low with the covers exploring texture utilising a embossed logo, which was well received.

AW24 was focused towards a few different themes being Maxi items, Gears, and Space. The intention behind the design direction for this look book was to be more focused around the details of the products and really highlighting the craft behind the them. This was done by using product image photography of the items on white backgrounds but in a creative experimental way such as the ‘Catena Signifier’ page. To keep the design consistent and clean each hero page opts for the same style of using the details of the product on a white/simple background to highlight the product. While the following pages will be more expressive design relating to the theme of the collection. One of the main challenges while designing this was finding a way to keep the story of each different themes separate while having a look book which flows seamlessly through each other. However, by using the same design practice throughout and using key design identifiers helped to pull the overall design together while still keeping it luxury.
The theme for SS24 was focused towards the kings coronation and the new items surrounding it. Throughout the look book it will communicate a story through the new items of the season in the collective themes. The design brief set was to explore creative layouts and composition through images alone. To keep the luxury feel we opted for a hero image to open a new section with the copy regarding the collection then the following pages would explore more of a creative composition of images through shapes or order. It was key to keep the overall aesthetic minimal as the look books are a selling tool the products needed to shine through more as per the brief.
