The Invisible Bloom is a 10 page narrative sequence concertina book which represents a cycle of a flower. By using photography I wanted it to help enhance the idea of how a dead flower can be given new life from the colours of the paint progressively being poured onto the dead flower.
Experimenting with different paper types was a key part of this project to discover which paper worked best to showcase the photography. Initially I opted for a glossy paper but after trial and error I finished it off with a wallpaper style paper as the texture of it helped enhance the photography.
